Applications
DynamicTextures can be applied in automotive, architecture, aerospace, robotics, packaging,
product and textile design.

DynamicTextures is a 2-D patterned surface that reacts to a stimulus (fluid, for example) and morphs into a 3-D textured surface that can direct and control flow of fluid, air, light, or sound. This concept can also be used with software to create a specific range of desired texture positions. By communicating in a visual and tactile way, DynamicTextures creates opportunities in a variety of industries as an active surface material with advantages of being compact, lightweight and collapsible.
